Is The Macro Market Turning? (And where to go to protect against downside risk)

I have many thoughts around this and will write more soon, but for now I believe that properties are staying on the market longer, and, in general, the downward market awareness is rising. Some say it becomes a self-fulfilling process, others say it's just a normal part of the cycle, whichever you believe it's good to have thoughts on what to do when the market turns...

More to come soon, but for now I'm looking at locations that have seen minimal increases and have stable economies..i.e. BORING: New Haven, CT and Wichita, KS are two of my favorites now. No offense to the great people of New Haven or Wichita, coming in hot...or just stable.
